Life on the Road

To say goodbye to Mexico I got up really early one morning (6am) and watched the sun rise as we were pulling into Cabo San Lucas. Above is the sunrise and below is the moon over the rocks that separate two different seas. Beautiful!

Mexico has many, many agave plants. They're everywhere. Above is me in the middle of an agave plantation. Below is the part of the plant that makes tequila...the agave pineapple. yummy!

In Puerto Vallarta I got to do "Rhythms of the Night". We had an hour ride on a cattamarran out to Las Caletas...a private beach that's only accessible by boat.

We were welcomed by locals playing on very cool instruments. After an amazing dinner we got to watch a phenomenal show. I was expecting tribal dancing and we got that and more! The modern dancers were great!
The ride back to the ship was beautiful! The sunset was amazing and by the time we got back to the ship it was nighttime and the ship was lit up beautifully!
This is one of my favorite shore excursions that I've done! It hit all the senses.

In Mazatlan I had a chance to go ziplining. Wow! I haven't been since I was in South America a few years back. It was amazing! What made it so unique was the environment. I also had a blast hanging out with our passengers!

Notice all the cacti around. Some were even taller than the trees! The locals say that during the rainy season the cacti are directly next to the other green trees. Pretty amazing.
